The secret behind ROKA? We'll tell you a little a more about the fabrics...

Used to buying a brand new T-shirt, proudly wearing it down the street. Noticing after a few hours when the sun's out that it feels a little warm..You start to sweat, you wash the top, wear it again, and wash it again and so on.. The next thing you know the top has got bubbles and starting to wear out?

We were so bored of the same story that we decided to create a brand using different fabrics which behave in a different way. This is what sets ROKA apart from any other basics brand..

We believe every designer has a responsibility, after all the clothing industry is a huge source for damaging the environment globally and encouraging poor work environments and ethics for millions of people in the poorest countries in the world.
We decided early on, we do not want to be any part of what's causing that.

So why can't everyone think like that? Well, unusual eco-friendly fabrics and production in Europe is expensive so most brands will choose the cheaper option and earn more money for every garment they sell. To us, we believe our customers would rather spend a little more a T-shirt and invest in garments which lasts longer due to quality and improved fabrics, whilst knowing it's been produced under good conditions in Europe.

The thing that makes it worth it to invest in a ROKA tee is that you will get an unbelievable wear out of it, as well as always feeling comfortable in our fabrics like Tencel, Modal and Bamboo.
These fabrics are all natural fabrics, Tencel and Modal being made from the cellulose from trees and Bamboo being naturally grown using 10 times less water than cotton.

One of the most amazing things, aside from the fact that the product is nearly 100% eco-friendly is that it breathes so well you won't even feel it in the midst of the heat. We use a little Wool in a lot of our garments too, which ensures that when it's cold you stay warmer, yet when it's warm it breathes and keep you cool.
-By sweating less, you wash less and that is another great way to save the environment as well as keeping your garments in a good shape for longer.

And not just that, we always create our garments with you in mind. We know most women don't feel like showing off every lump and bump, although they want to look good. We design our t-shirts to compliment your shape and make you feel good while wearing it.
